Spring is here and that means Summer sandal weather is just around the corner. Sundari ("a beautiful woman" in Sanskrit) has a foot-care treatment ritual that can help whip crusty heels and toes into shape.
First use the
Neem and Manuka Body Cleanser to wash feet and legs. A major component in Ayurvedic medicine, neem has medicinal properties, being antifungal, antidiabetic, antibacterial, and antiviral. The Neem in Sundari's cleanser repairs the skin; Manuka oil has antibacterial properties as well.
It's a weird color, but it smells terrific - sorta like apricots. I'm big on antibacterial, so can really get into the idea of using this stuff in the hot sweaty summer months. Especially to keep the tootsies clean. I've been using it as an all-over body wash recently, and really like the light frothy lather.
After cleansing the feet, use some Sundari
Neem and Date Seed Body Exfoliator, removing it with warm damp towels. Finally, mist dry feet lightly with
Neem and Aloe Vera Tonic Water. So refreshing! I can see myself doing this routine on a regular basis, particularly after a trip to the germy nail salon....
