Notes: davana, peach, coconut, blackcurrant, tuberose, prune, lily, cedar, sandalwood, musc
Hello, Summer! Although peach is the first note that hit me when I applied this new scent from MDCI, I was also struck by coconut, tuberose, and blackcurrant, all forming an exotic umbrella drink on my skin. That schmancy sculptural bottle cap is all wrong for this fragrance, as it gives the impression that what lies underneath is hoity-toity and sophisticated. However, the juice is far more casual and relaxed, like a summer's day on the beach with a trashy novel and a Fuzzy Navel on the side.
That is not to say that Peche Cardinal is a cheap fruity-floral scent - not at all! While both fruity and floral, it stands head and shoulders (heyyy...maybe that's the reason for the fancy bust!) above the common department store fragrance of its type, and should be what they aspire to smell like. Rather than the dreck most of them are.
Those of you who like Piguet's gorgeous peachy-keen
Visa (I adore it) may like this one too.
