Kat Burki is a lifestyle collection specializing in home furnishings and a bath and body collection. The latter's signature scent is a delicious tuberose (halfway between heady/sweet and a drier green floral). The line has two other fragrances: Lavender Lightly and Freesia & Pink Grapefruit, and I've tried both in the body cream, which is luxuriously thick and rich and gloriously scented. The Lavender has a nice herbaceousness that is tempered by a creamy quality. The Freesia and Pink Grapefruit is predominately citrus, light and fresh and lovely.
All of the Kat Burki scents are of very high quality. The all-natural soaps are made with 50% olive oil, plus coconut and palm oils, and 24% glycerin. The generous slab-shaped 6oz bars are $29; 11 oz candles are $52; and 5oz body cream and 9oz body gel are $45.
The line is so new, the body cream and gel is currently only available by pre-order, but it is anticipated to arrive by Mother's Day - and what a luxurious gift it would be for that occasion, too! I'm not a mom, but I'd love some of the Freesia & Pink Grapefruit. :)
