Notes: vanilla absolute, saffron, orris, banana wood, hay absolute, amber
By the "feline" part of the name, I imagine this new scent from Parfumerie Generale should be a more gamey sort of vanilla, and perhaps it is. More gamey than actual vanilla, but only because of the addition of saffron. It starts out with the slightly medicinal saffron note over a huge gust of iris backed with a bit of vanilla. The odd combination makes me think it could be what the love child of Shalimar and Musc Ravageur might smell like. The iris is fleeting and the vanilla becomes more dominant, finally melding with a bit of amber in the end.
Perhaps not quite wild, but wonderful nonetheless.
